Carbide Drill Bits
The bits you choose are just as important as the machine you buy. Buying a well-made bit will not only give you better results but will also last longer. Unlike sanding bands, diamond bits & stones, Carbide bits don’t grind away material; instead, a series of flutes are cut into the shank at varying widths. A carbide requires much less pressure in order to remove the acrylic. This results in less friction, the major cause of heat build-up.
